Bio:

Dr. Dop grew up in Des Moines & Indianola. She started her higher education at Simpson College. Her husbands military career then took them to six states and three cities in Germany. The moves allowed her the opportunity to teach all grades from pre school to seniors in college except for kindergarten. She has also been a K-12 Principal and a Director of Instruction and Assessment.

The Dop's have three biological children, one son and two daughters, and also four unofficially adopted daughters. Grandchild number ten is due this November.

This will be Dr. Dop's second year here at Essex Community Schools.
